"Ishikawa defended the net really well, our penalty-killing was really good and we were able to get 49 shots on net. Although I thought we could score a few more goals, we played very well overall. I'm hoping we can carry this momentum into our game tomorrow."

"From a systems standpoint, we were able to accomplish that in the first period. We made some mistakes in the second and that led to some goals scored against us. The Cranes were able to control the game and limited our chances. I thought Fukufuji played well inbetween the pipes. I'd like to see this team control the play more often in the offensive zone tomorrow and not let our goaltenders see the puck as much as today."
