Asia League Participating Countries Take Part in IIHF World Championships Division I & II Apr. 22 08

The Asia League participating countries took part in the IIHF World Championships.
Japan, who played in Division I, Group B, lost close games against its contenders Hungary and Ukraine, and will play in Division I again next year. Aaron Keller from Oji Paper was named the Directorate Best Defenseman.
Korea, who was promoted to Division I last year, lost all their games and finished last to be relegated to Division II.
China scored dramatic victories, but lost their last game against Australia and will remain in Division II.
